49ers To Face Kolb Not Vick Sunday

It has been reported by ESPN reporter Adam Schefter that Michael Vick will not be available for Sunday Night's game against the 49ers.

In his place will be former starter Kevin Kolb, who regained his job after Vick went down with a rib injury on Sunday.

Kolb was unable to get the offense into a rhythm against the Redskins, going 24-36 passing, and failing to orchestrate a game winning drive with two minutes to play.

49ers fans can symphatize with Eagles fans over a statistic that has been critiqued this week in Philadelphia. Of Kolb's 24 completions, 20 of them were for an, "Alex-Smith-like," 6 yards or less,  including 14 passes that were recived behind the line of scrimmage. On passes of more than 6 yards, Kolb was a pathetic 4-16.
