UH OH: Reverse Buster Posey Effect

Giants fans have been holding their breath, as if in the middle of a perfect game, quietly wondering when their teams ridiculous steak of luck was about to run out.

And just like that, it went.

With one slide at home plate Buster Posey's season ended almost as abruptly as last years ROY campaign began. Now, instead of infusing much needed energy into the Giants season, Posey's exit deflates a lineup already teetering on the edge of respectability.
