Rooting for Niners Means Rooting for the Lions, Cardinals, Bills and Bengals

As 49ers fans, we can believe in the suck.

We can believe that we have enough commitment, determination and talent to go into our final two games and stink up the joint. If we put our minds to it, we just might have a chance to lose all three of our remaining 2010 football games.

Thursdays loss to San Diego was a good start, and a brilliant display of suckiness, but the road ahead will bring tougher challenges than a team like the "no-suck," Phillip Rivers led Chargers. It will take a true collective team effort when the 49ers face the master's of suck, Arizona, who are coming off a key loss to the once "super-sucky" Carolina Panthers. This will be followed by a road game against the St Louis Rams, whose enthusiasm for a sucky season have been diminished by that darn Sam Bradford.

So where is the motivation behind tanking the rest of the season you ask?

How about Andrew Luck, Prince Amukumara or Pattrick Peterson.

You see, if the 49ers buy into Mike Singletary's garbage about trying to win these final two games, and representing the NFC West in a mockery of an NFL playoff game, they will play themselves out of any chance of landing one of these franchise changing players in the 2011 NFL draft.

And the opportunity is right there in front of them! Give Willis a head start on vacation, tell Vernon the game got changed to monday and for christ sakes, keep starting Alex Smith! We need to lose, and we need to lose now.

There are currently six teams ahead of us in the suck department.

Complicated Graph Charting NFL Suckiness
Detroit- 4 Wins --------Less Suck----
Arizona- 4 Wins
Buffalo- 4 Wins
Denver- 3 Wins
Cincinati- 3 wins
Carolina- 2 Wins -----More Suck----

We cant catch Carolina, but we do still have a chance to catch the remaining 5 teams. If we can just manage to lose out, and the teams with four wins can make the mistake off pulling off just one more victory, we can be in a prime position come NFL draft time.

From the fourth position, we would have a strong trading chip to try and trade up, nabbing local hero Andrew Luck or a the perfect spot to let franchise corners Amukumara or Petterson fall to us.

So dont give up 49er fans. Stay faithful. Believe in the suck!
