Giants Biggest Threat This Year not Dodgers or Padres

Fear the Beard? No. This year, its fear the Rockies.

After the opening series of the 2011 series yielded just 1 win and 3 losses, it may be tempting to announce the revival of the Dodgers/Giants rivalry.

Yet the team that SHOULD be most feared and respected by the Giants are the divisional rivals to our north. The Rockies feature one of the better rotations they have had in years, led by breakout star Ubaldo Jimenez, steady-man Jorge De La Rosa and up and comer Choulyvis Chacin.

Additionally, their lineup is as potent as ever with all world shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and Oakland A's cast-off turned superstar Carlos Gonzalez.

Their is a reason that experts across the web are picking the Rockies to be be this years Giants and make a surprise run at the World Series. So forget about the Dodgers, with their shaky rotation, leaky bullpen and shoddy chemistry and take notice of the Rockies, our numnber one rival and biggest threat to keep us from repeating as NL West champs.
